Getting started
Beta and feedback
Agentic Numerical Control is beta software. It works, but it is still changing, and it can get things wrong.
What beta means
- Features change between versions.
- Some things will break.
- Generated jobs and checks may contain errors.
Install updates when they arrive.
Checks and AI advice
- Generated G-code is a candidate program provided as is for your review. A passed computer check means only that the reported check passed for the supplied data; it does not establish that the program is correct or safe to run.
- An AI assistant's assessment can be wrong and is not a guarantee of correctness, safety or a successful cut.
- You must review the complete program and verify the actual machine, controller, units, zero, stock, cutter, workholding and clearances before deciding whether it is safe to run. Do not run it if you cannot verify the setup.
- Starting, resuming, homing or unlocking can cause machine movement, injury or damage. On-screen Stop is not an emergency stop; follow the machine manufacturer's safety instructions and use its physical emergency stop when needed.
If your assistant says a job passed, that is its own analysis. If a computer check passed, that check passed for the data it was given. Neither means the job is safe to run: that decision is yours.
See Safety for the checks built into the app and your part.
Give feedback
Tell your assistant "send feedback to anc" or "report a problem": it writes up what happened and sends it, with your OK, to the developer.
Or email contact@agenticnumericalcontrol.com.
If something moved unexpectedly or looks unsafe, stop the machine and email us straight away.
